Students and their parents fill out a registration form together. You’ll tell us about your English level, and your goals.

Students complete an online English test, where they get tested on their conversation, reading, and writing.

3 | Admissions Meeting

Students speak with our admissions team to discuss the program, and see if we’re a good fit.

OSSD Registration & Documentation

Once the student admission process has been completed, we follow the Ontario Registration process to complete enrollment.

Graduation & Your OSSD Diploma

Sunray Academy of Canada students graduate with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), the official secondary school credential issued under the authority of the Ontario Ministry of Education in Canada. Sunray Academy of Canada is an inspected Ontario private school and the OSSD is recognized by colleges and universities across Canada and internationally, meeting Ontario’s rigorous academic standards.

For International students, the OSSD offers access to a globally respected Canadian secondary credential. Canada’s international education is overseen by EduCanada and Global Affairs Canada on behalf of the Government of Canada, which reinforces the global recognition of Canadian education. With the support of EduCanada, we host graduation ceremonies in countries where we have a large student population. In July 2025, students in Colombia celebrated their OSSD graduation at the Embassy of Canada to Colombia in Bogotá, marking the first OSSD graduation hosted at the Embassy. Sunray Academy of Canada and EduCanada congratulated students and discussed the many academic and career pathways their Canadian diploma can open.
