Graduation & Your OSSD Diploma
All Sunray Academy of Canada students graduate with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), the official secondary school credential issued under the authority of the Ontario Ministry of Education in Canada. Sunray Academy of Canada is an inspected Ontario private school and the OSSD is recognized by colleges and universities across Canada and internationally, meeting Ontario’s rigorous academic standards.
For Ontario students, the OSSD provides a flexible, personalized pathway to graduation while maintaining full alignment with Ministry requirements for postsecondary admission in Canada.
For International students, the OSSD offers access to a globally respected Canadian secondary credential. Canada’s international education is overseen by EduCanada and Global Affairs Canada on behalf of the Government of Canada, which reinforces the global recognition of Canadian education. With the support of EduCanada, we host graduation ceremonies in countries where we have a large student population. In July 2025, students in Colombia celebrated their OSSD graduation at the Embassy of Canada to Colombia in Bogotá, marking the first OSSD graduation hosted at the Embassy. Sunray Academy of Canada and EduCanada congratulated students and discussed the many academic and career pathways their Canadian diploma can open.
Wherever they begin their journey, our learners graduate with a diploma that meets Ontario standards and opens doors in Canada and around the world.
